Gigi Thiele is no stranger to the French Teaching Community in Western Australia, having taught primary and secondary French in government and non-government schools over a period of over 20 years. Gigi was on the Syllabus Committee/CAC from 1987 – 2010 and has passionately adapted to each curriculum change, seeking to support and encourage others along the way. As a practitioner, Gigi enjoyed being an oral examiner and written marker for the TEE/WACE/ATAR. Gigi was on the writing panel for the exam for 6 years and held the role of Chief Marker. In addition, she was on the Stage 2 exam writing panel. |
Co-Founder: Brigitte Blunsdon
French-born and raised, Brigitte Blunsdon (BA, DipEd) followed her heart to Western Australia and completed her tertiary education in languages and teaching at Edith Cowan University. Brigitte speaks and teaches French and Spanish, and is also qualified to teach English as a second language. Her teaching career spans 21 years in the primary, secondary and TAFE education systems. Co-Founder: Tania Christie
Tania Christie (BA, DipEd) has 20+ years French teaching experience in Western Australian primary and secondary schools plus a decade of working with Education Perfect bringing online learning to teachers and schools around the world. Primarily passionate about teaching French to all (K-12; adult), Tania is now also exploring her newfound passion to bring Financial Literacy education to young women. Her qualifications include the DELF (Diplôme d´études en langue française) and the DALF (Diplôme approfondi de langue française), the only qualifications accredited by the French Ministry of Education for French as a foreign language.
